Day 01: Arrive at Rustic Adventure Camp All Meal
Arrival at Udaipur / Jodhpur Airport / Railway Station. Take a half day city sightseeing, after lunch proceed for Rustic Adventure Camp Sansari. On Arrival Check in to the Camp, Evening Enjoy with village jeep Safari for 2 hours. After Safari Back to camp. Enjoy with culture show on Dinner tine, Overnight stay at camp
Day 02 : Sansari To Todgarh Raoli Wildlife Sanctuary ( 60 km 1 h 30 min ) All Meal
After breakfast drive to Todgarh Raoli Wildlife Sanctuary was like a Safari in itself, passing through amazing Aravalli Hills, dry scrub land, degraded hill slopes and many a hairpin bend. At the village Todgarh, we have to picke up some veggies from the market and continued our drive towards the sanctuary. Because didn’t have much food in forest rest house. On arrival check in and meet local forest men he is a caretaker at the forest rest house, The rest house is situated on the forest edge, on an elevation with a beautiful view of the sanctuary. The Rest house is a British era (1932) forest rest house. It has two wells, furnished rooms with all basic facilities.
That’s the kind of a home like experience we had at this little known sanctuary.
It is one of the larger and lesser known sanctuaries of Rajasthan and has a great potential for ecotourism, Nature loving tourists can view a variety of birds, animals, and plant life by way of trekking along nature trails.
There is a banyan tree next to the rest house kitchen .The tree, full of fruit, attracts many birds and animals.
Birds Spices :-Understanding the diversity and structure of bird communities is essential to delineate the importance of regional or local landscapes for avian conservation. Birds are very sensitive to environmental changes and are used as a “bioindicator.” The study was carried out to explore the diversity and status of avifauna in the Todgarh-Raoli Bird Sanctuary, Rajasthan, India, from January 2013 to December 2013. The line transect method was used to cover most of the study area. A total of 142 species of birds belonging to 45 families and 18 orders were recorded- Black-winged Kite (Elanus caeruleus ), Black Kite (Milvus migrans), Egyptian Vulture (Neophron percnopterus), White-rumped Vulture (Gyps bengalensis), White-eyed Buzzard (Butastur teesa), Indian Bushlark (Mirafra erythroptera), Pied Kingfisher (Ceryle rudis), Ruddy Shelduck (Tadorna ferruginea) , Intermediate Egret (Mesophoyx intermedia) , Etc. Dinner and over night stay at forest rest house
Day 03 : Todgarh To Dudhaleshwar Temple ( 30 km 1 h) All Meal
After morning breakfast take trekking tour of 30 km. An ancient Lord Shiva Temple surrounded by tall trees of Karanj, Tamarind & Banyan attracts tourists from distance places. There is a perennial source of spring water in the temple. It is perfect place to meditate & relieve stress. Enroute visit Katar Ghati Approach from Todgarh to Dudhaleshwar is by a serpentine track on the western slope of Aravalli hills. This four Km long road has many U turns, built by British engineers. It is the best example of road engineering. Katar Ghati joins Mewar and Marwar regions. After visit back to forest rest house back pack and say thanks to Forest men and check out from Forest rest house and back to Rustic adventure camp Sansari, Dinner and overnight stay at camp
Day 04: Day Excursion Ghoram Ghat Railway Track ( All Meal )
After early morning breakfast proceed for “Ghoram Ghat day Excursion” . Most of the railway track of 22 km length between Kamlighat & Fulad station passes through Todgarh Raoli Sanctuary in a hilly terrain. It also joins Mewar & Marwar regions. It was built in 1934 & fine example of railway engineering. While travelling through this serpentine route, tourists can view green vegetation, waterfall, tunnels & bridges. Dinner and overnight stay at camp
Day 05 : Bheelberi and Raina Dam Day Excursion ( All Meal )
Inside the sanctuary in Bhagora forest block there is waterfall of height 55 meter probably highest waterfalls in Aravalli range. The waterfall can be seen in the rainy season. Roosting long billed vultures and numerous rock beehives on the cliffs just near to it can also be watched. Bheelberi can be approached by jeeps through a 4 KM nature trail. Just 3 Km away from Bheelberi waterfalls, is a jeepable road to reach Raina Dam which is a large water body and it is a part of the wildlife sanctuary. During winters lot of birds come to this water body and one gets to do bird watching. Dinner and overnight stay at Rustic adventure camp
Day 07 : Deewair and Jombhu mata excursion ( Over night mountain camping at Khimaj mata ) All Meal
Deewair is a historical place inside the sanctuary associated with Maharana Pratap. It is the victory site where Maharana Pratap defeated the Mughal army of Akbar. Col. James Tod named Deewair as “Marathon of Mewar” in the famous book “Annals & antiquities of Rajasthan” Over night mountain camping at Khimaj mata
Day 08 Khimaj mata ( Departure )
Today after breakfast drive to Udaipur / Jodhpur for your onward journey.
