UDAIPUR TIGER LAKE HIKING

DURATION: 2-3 HRS
DISTANCE: 8 KMS APPROX
LEVEL: RECREATIONAL

Today after breakfast reach the starting point of the trek which is a small village located in the Udaipur, this village is locally known by the name “Dhar”, on arrival at the village we will meet our local navigator who is a local resident and will also accompany us on the trek.
Experience the walk with your trekking guide and local navigator, on this trek we will see some villages which are though small but very old and unique on their own, we will walk through the farms and get to know about the crops like sugarcane, wheat and vegetables grown here and will see the farmers doing their daily work which would be the life time experience as the farmers still uses the old methods and old equipment.
On our halfway walk we will stop at a place for refreshment, later we will continue towards the tiger lake watching the local life, close to end we will have a 15 min moderate uphill climb, once we reach the top the view from there is incredible and we can see the villages we passed on our trail, later finish the trek at tiger lake and ride back to the hotel.

UBESHWAR JI NATURE TRAIL HIKING

LEVEL: RECREATIONAL DISTANCE: 10 KMS APPROX DURATION: 3-4 HOURS

Today after breakfast take a 25 min ride to reach the starting point of the trek, located in the Udaipur this place is locally known as “Ubeshwar ji.Its name after the Lord Shiva. This is the palace where we will meet our local guide.
This trek is very scenic and it will provide us with a chance to see the beautiful ranges of Aravali Mountains which is the oldest in the india. On this trek we will come across quite a number of villages where we experience the local culture and the lifestyle of the people, we will visit the houses of the people to understand their lifestyle in a better way.
On the hill top we will take a short break for refreshment and because this point provides us with the panoramic view, it’s the best place to take the photographs which would be a memory of life time.
Later we continue our trek and finish it at Morwania village from where we will drive back to our hotel.

VARDA VILLAGE WALK

DISTANCE: 4 KMS APPROX
DURATION: 1 – 1 HR 30 MIN

Today after lavish breakfast move from hotel and take a 35 min drive to reach the starting point of the trek which is a small hamlet in the west part of Udaipur, on arrival at the starting point with your trekking guide and local navigator begin trek towards Varda village, on this trek we will see good agricultural fields with farmers doing their daily chores, on our course of trek we will visit few houses and talk with the local residents to better know their culture and lifestyle, once we reach Varda village we will spend some time here and then we will drive back to the hotel.

SUNSET POINT HIKING (MONSOON PALACE)

DISTANCE: 4 KMS APPROX DURATION: 1 – 1 HR 30 MIN LEVEL: RECREATIONAL

After breakfast take a drive to monsoon palace which is locally known as “Sajjan Grah” it lies in the west of Udaipur 6 km from the city center, this fort was build in the end of 18th century by Maharana sajjan singh and was the summer capital of the royal family of Mewar, in the present times it is under government possession and open for the visitors from morning to evening.
On arrival at the gates of monsoon palace we will begin our hike from the gates itself, the hike will pass through the forest conservation zone and will give us best chance to see the local wildlife, birds and have a taste of Aravali mountain ranges, this trek is scenic and ideal for keen photographers, we will finish our trek on the other side of the monsoon palace where our ride awaits us.

TREKKING IN KUMBHALGARH AND RANAKPUR

KUMBHALGARH WILDLIFE SANCTUARY TREKKING

DISTANCE: 10-13 KMS APPROX | DURATION: 4 – 5 Hours | Level: Enthusiast

Take an early morning ride to kumbhalgarh (80 Kms from Udaipur 2 hours) on arrival visit the incredible Kumbhalgarh Fort which is claimed to have the 2nd largest fortified wall in the world, it is also included in the UNESCO world heritage site, spend some time at the fort then with your trekking guide and local navigator start trekking in the sanctuary area, its 3 Kms downhill in the beginning and then it would be a mixture of uphill and downhill terrain, the kumbhlgarh wildlife sanctuary is home for various animals like ( wild hogs, sloth bears , leopards, antelopes etc and numerous birds species, if lucky we might see some animals in the sanctuary area but witnessing some amazing bird species is assured.
We will take a halt on our halfway mark for refreshment thereafter we will continue our trek and finish it close to a village.

KUMBHALGARH – RANAKPUR JAIN TEMPLE WALK

DISTANCE: 10 KMS APPROX | DURATION: 3 – 4 Hours | Level: Enthusiast

Take an early morning ride to kumbhalgarh (80 Kms from Udaipur 2 hours) on arrival visit the incredible Kumbhalgarh Fort which is claimed to have the 2nd largest fortified wall in the world, it is also included in the UNESCO world heritage site, after spending ample amount of time at the fort reach Foota deval which is the starting point of the trek, once you reach starting point commence trekking with your trekking guide and local navigator towards Ranakpur.the trek passes through the forest reserve where we see good wildlife, the terrain is downhill for few kilometers in the beginning and then a mixture a uphill, downhill and flat however its very scenic and so refreshing.
On our course of trek we will see ancient Shiva temple, some tribal settlement, beautiful landscape which would be very interesting, on halfway mark we will stop for refreshment and then we continue towards Ranakpur.
On arrival at Ranakpur we will relax ourselves for a while and then we proceed towards the Jain Temples, build in the 12th century it is indeed a marvelous piece of architecture and the temple is build with white marble, the temple complex rests upon 1444 pillars which would be a spectacle for visitors.
After temple visit one can have lunch at local restaurant and then drive back to onward destination.

ARANYAWAS – BHANPURA WALK

DISTANCE: 9 KMS APPROX | DURATION: 3 – 4 Hours | Level: Recreational

After breakfast with your trekking guide and local navigator begin trek from hotel Aranyawas to Bhanpura village,this is a wonderful trek, the terrain is mixture of uphill and downhill terrain but a moderate one, we will pass through the forest reserve area so it’s all lush green forest around us with variety of fauna and flora on our way, we will stop on halfway for refreshment and then we continue our trek towards Bhanpura where on arrival we will relax ourselves for some time and then we will give a visit to this village which is very authentic and residence of one of the oldest indigenous tribe “Bhils” which are only found in Mewar region, after spending enough time at the village while learning the local culture and lifestyle of the people we will proceed to onward destination.
